6 Smoothie Recipes for the Best Summer
1. The All-Rounder

Ingredients:
•
1 cup milk of choice
•
¼ cup quick oats
•
Handful of natural almonds (not roasted or salted)
•
Handful of natural cashews (not roasted or salted)
•
1/3 cup frozen blueberries
•
¼ cup frozen cherries
•
1/3 of a banana (frozen or ripe)
Optional extra:
•
You can add in some cocoa and honey for a dessert-y and extra sweet flavour
2. Green and Clean
Ingredients:
•
1 avocado
•
½ a banana
•
½ a cup of spinach
•
½ an apple
•
1 cup of milk
•
½ tbsp of chia seeds
Optional extra:
•
Add some yoghurt or peanut butter to increase the protein in the smoothie

Ingredients:
•
¼ cup mango
•
¼ cup raspberry
•
1 small tub of yoghurt
•
½ cup of water
4. Berry Blend
Ingredients:
•
1/3 cup of frozen mixed berries
•
A handful of soaked cashews (for a creamy texture and nutty flavour)
•
¼ cup of pitted Medjool dates
•
2 cubes of frozen baby spinach
•
1 cup of milk
Optional extra:
•
Add some yoghurt, extra cherries and chia seeds for some extra flavour
5. Protein Punch
Ingredients:
•
1 tbsp of nut butter (such as almond butter)
•
½ a banana
•
2 tsp of flaxseed
•
2 tsp of chia seeds
•
1/3 cup of frozen blueberries
•
1 cup of milk
Optional extra:
•
Greek yoghurt and soy milk can add some extra protein for some extra punch
6. Delicious Dessert

Ingredients:
•
½ tbsp of cocoa
•
½ a banana
•
1 tbsp of maple syrup or honey
•
A handful of cacao nibs
•
½ cup of strawberries (fresh or frozen)
•
1 cup of milk
Optional extra:
•
Add a drop of vanilla extract for a little extra flavour
