NSW gymnasts represent Australia at Plovdiv Cup Aerobics Open

NSW gymnasts have taken to the floor at the Plovdiv Cup Aerobics Open in Bulgaria to compete against the world’s best.

The four gymnasts, from All Starz Gymnastics & Dance, made up the majority of the six-strong Aussie contingent. The event, held from October 8–9, gave athletes a chance to compete internationally and gain experience on the world-stage.

In the Senior division, Carissa Uno performed a fantastic routine that saw her finish in 24th place with a score of 17.450.

MacKenzie Manev was Australia’s only competitor in the Junior Individual Women’s division. The 16-year-old scored 15.400 for her routine, with a 41st place finish.

Still new to the international circuit, Angelina Chalabov put in a great effort in the Age Group division and finished in 44th place, scoring 16.150. Hillary Diachenko rounded out the Australian squad with a 55th place finish in the same division.

Congratulations to all four athletes and their coaches for their performances! We are very proud of you 😊
